- One on one phone interviews with your  past, current, and potential customers, plus important stakeholders in the value chain for your business interests

- a summary of the information is produced, and working closely with your companies leadership we analyse the information to develop a value proposition and simple, easy to read one page plan. This creates team learning, understanding, and ownership of the plan.

- A marketing driven product development road map as an actionable outcome

- Business plans with pro-forma financial modeling or marketing budgets

Ian Lucas Biography

 

 

 

 

Ian has lead many new product development programs involving innovations 

with Natural Health Ingredients, Pharmaceuticals, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Micro Algae, Software Development and Leadership Coaching.

 

He learned about professional sales with Searle Pharmaceuticals, where Ian

had great success selling to family physicians and specialists. He was awarded the Monsanto Master Sales Award in 1990. This launched his career to become a pharmaceutical district sales manager for 6 years.

Ian's sales success with Searle took him into a management development program focused on pharmaceutical new product life cycle planning. He became Global 

Product Director for Celebrex with Pharmacia Oncology based in New Jersey, USA. 

The team developed a cancer prevention marketing program based on the effectiveness of Celebrex preventing certain types of  cancer.

Ian lead the global marketing strategy development program with both Pfizer and 

Pharmacia Celebrex Oncology marketing teams in a co-operative marketing development program. He had over all leadership responsibility for the United States product launch of

 Celebrex 400 mg for cancer prevention .

In 2003 Ian returned to Canada from the US as Executive Vice President Innovation and Strategy with Halifax based Ocean Nutrition Canada. The company grew from $20 to $ 150 million in annual sales during his commercial leadership.

 

Ian then co-founded a software start up called SceneSharp Technologies and was the CEO for 4 years.

Ian has been a proud member of the Wallace McCain Institute Entrepreneurial Leaders Program (ELP-5 co-hort) since 2012. He is a dedicated life time learner.

Ian and his wife Leanne raised two great kids who are now "out of the nest". They relocated to live on the ocean near Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
